Tamsil: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Da'wah, Ternate State Islamic Institute (IAIN Ternate). The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, scholars, and practitioners to disseminate original research and engage in scholarly discussions on various dimensions of Islam and Muslim societies.

The journal is dedicated to the development of Islamic Studies through rigorous and innovative scholarship. Tamsil welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical studies that contribute to the understanding of Islamic thought, traditions, institutions, history, culture, and contemporary developments.

The journal particularly welcomes studies that explore the dynamics of Islam within Indonesian and Southeast Asian contexts. Research on local Islamic traditions, Islamic intellectual history, Muslim communities, local wisdom, religious diversity, and the interaction between Islamic values and contemporary social and cultural change is highly encouraged.

Tamsil promotes interdisciplinary approaches that bring Islamic Studies into dialogue with the social sciences and humanities. The journal seeks to facilitate scholarly exchange between classical Islamic scholarship and contemporary academic perspectives, while encouraging research that makes significant theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions to the field.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, academic quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's scope, and contribution to the advancement of Islamic Studies.
