Author Guidelines

GENERAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES

  1. The manuscript submitted via website: http://journal.iain-ternate.ac.id/index.php/al-qashdu/login

  2. The Manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English and should be original, unpublished, and not under review for possible publication in any other journals.

  3. The identity of the Manuscript requires; title, full name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, email, abstract, and keywords

  4. The contents of papers for empirical research consist of IntroductionLiterature Review, MethodResults and Discussion, Conclusion, and Bibliography.

  5. INTRODUCTION, consisting of background, research problems, summaries of previous relevant studies, the gap of knowledge, and research objectives. written in one chapter without subtitles.

  6. LITERATURE REVIEW, Contains a systematic description about result of research that has been carried out by previous researchers. This section also contains a theoretical studies consists of a summary of theories are taken from literature that support research, and contains explanation of the concepts and basic principles are needed for problem solving, literature Review and Hypothesis Development, contains previous literatures related to the research and explains the hypothesis development.

  7. METHOD, consists of research design, data collection, population, and sample, data source, data collection technique, and data analysis. It is written in paragraph form.

  8. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, Researchers need to inform several important (original) field data obtained from interviews, observations, questionnaires, surveys, documents, and other data collection techniques. The findings are presented in full and are related to the pre-determined scope of research. Findings can be supplemented with tables, graphs, and/or diagrams. The result of data analysis is explained correctly in the article. The discussion part logically explains the findings, associated with the relevant sources.

  9. CONCLUSION, The conclusion contains a short summary of the findings and discussion, presented briefly, narrative, and conceptual. Avoid using bullet and numbering.

  10. REFERENCES, The citation, and references are referred to American Psychological Association (APA) style sixth edition, by using manager reference (Mendeley/Zotero).

  11. The Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines and Template. The writing template can be downloaded here.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The article has never been published or considered for publication in a journal;

  2. The substance of the article manuscript is the result of research on important and current issues covered in the field of journals;

  3. Script files in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file formats;

  4. Manuscripts of articles should be prepared according to the following writing guidelines: Template Article of Al-qashdu;

  5. Articles range from 6,000-10,000 words in length, excluding references in footnote and bibliographic formats;

  6. Arabic words, sentences, or sources are typed according to Arabic-Latin transliteration guidelines approved by the Minister of Religion, Minister of Education, and Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 158/1987 and  No. 0543b/U/1987;

  7. The citation system uses standard reference applications such as Zotero, Mendeley or others with APA style 7th edition citation types;

  8. Articles are free from plagiarism with a maximum turnitin check result of 25%. Turnitin;

  9. Attach a Statement of Originality that has been signed by the authors. Statement of Originality

Publishing your paper with Al-Qashdu: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Keuangan Islam means that the author or authors retain the copyright in the paper. Al-Qashdu granted an exclusive non commercial reuse license by the author(s), but the author(s) are able to put the paper onto a website, distribute it to colleagues, give it to students, use it in your thesis etc, so long as the use is not directed at commercial advantage or toward private monetary gain.
